Stunning canal view right from our room.

The noise from the rubbish compactor was unbearable starting at 7am. I felt like I was staying in a cramped hostel rather than a hotel room. To make matters worse, the room's furniture was very old and shabby, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere during our stay.

The staff walked in a couple of different times unannounced, which felt uncomfortable, especially when I had valuables in the room.

The outlets were poorly placed, none by the beds, which made charging devices inconvenient.

Budget option with convenience

Our stay here was decent! The owner really went the extra mile, sent video directions to find the place, which was a lifesaver. we enjoyed breakfast with a nice view over the canal, it was a nice touch.

It wasn’t the cheapest option available but still doable.

staying at caneva was a delight! the location is fantastic, just a short walk to rialto bridge with tons of great restaurants nearby. our room had an amazing view of the bustling canal. the staff were super friendly, and the communication before our arrival was seamless.

would recommend.

Wi-fi was reliable, but luggage storage felt unmonitored after checkout.

Location was superb, just a stone's throw from the Rialto Bridge and Piazza San Marco! The room was spacious enough for my countless trinkets, and I enjoyed the view from my window. A lifeline for tired legs was the handy water machine too!

But, honestly, not having a kettle felt like a cruel joke! And waiting a good ten minutes for hot water? Come on now.

The canal view was stunning, but the breakfast was a total letdown with limited options, and the place could do with a spruce up.

The fan in the room became essential during the warm days. it worked perfectly. The location was fantastic, nestled between Rialto and St Mark’s Square, allowing easy access to wander around. The courtyard offered a relaxing space to unwind. the décor could use an update. it felt quite basic. The shower lacked some power, which was a bit disappointing. A couple of times, cleaning staff walked in unannounced, which felt uncomfortable, especially when I had valuables in the room. A designated luggage area after checkout had no staff supervision, but my belongings were safe. despite these minor inconveniences, the stay was enjoyable, especially due to the location and view.

The canal view from our room was simply stunning! 🛶 A perfect backdrop for our Venice adventure. The shower could’ve been better, but overall we loved the quaint atmosphere and local charm.

Great spot in Venice!

Perfect location, super close to Rialto and St Mark’s Square. The room had this lovely canal view. Super casual vibe overall. Just wish the shower was a bit stronger. a fan in the room was a lifesaver with the heat! The courtyard is gorgeous too. Really appreciated the staff being chill about our late sleep-in.

Cozy atmosphere, ideal if you appreciate a serene escape with great communication from the manager.
